David & Raven (Dad & Daughter)
Back in 1988 I started as an apprentice gardener/groundsman for Bournemouth Parks Department, I trained at Dorchester Horticultural College and gained my City & Guilds in Groundsmanship/Horticulture. I was then employed by Bournemouth Parks Department working in all areas, learning about shrubs, plants, decorative borders, greenhouse's, rockeries, lawns, football pitches, cricket grounds, bowling greens, watering systems etc.
I then took a complete career change and decided to work within operating theatres for the NHS. I am now rekindling my love of the outdoors by starting this small family run gardening business with my daughter Raven, who has also become inspired by horticulture and is keen to learn new skills and further her career.
